An Insider's Guide to the Atlanta Beltline's Best Restaurants & Bars (2024)

Summer in Atlanta means leisurely walks on the Beltline and more importantly, amazing food and drinks on the Beltline! Here’s our insider’s guide to the best that the Beltline has to offer, broken down by Eastside and Westside trail spots.

1. Buena Vida Tapas

385 N Angier Ave NE Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30308

Buena Vida Tapas is an Instagram dream with one of the cutest patios in ATL. There’s also a pretty extensive vegan/vegetarian menu for those with dietary restrictions. Insider tip: Come for brunch as well–it’s fantastic!

2. Breaker Breaker

For simple and delish fried seafood, check out Breaker Breaker. It’s all good vibes here, and they’re an Atlant Eats staff favorite. Insider tip: They’ve just opened an upstairs relaxed bar they are calling Florida Man–check it out!

3. Burle’s Bar

505 N Angier Ave NE Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30308

This relaxed and beautiful co*cktail lounge on the Beltline, right above the Victorian Atlanta plant shop, is a green oasis that’s the perfect place to enjoy a great co*cktail or a shot and beer with friends. Insider tip: Check them out on Tuesday evenings for jazz night.

4. Delbar

870 Inman Vlg Pkwy NE Suite 1, Atlanta, GA 30307

One of the newest additions to the Beltline, Delbar brings all the flavors and flair of Middle Eastern cuisine to Atlanta. Chef/owner Fares Kargar first got his cooking chops with the Iranian recipes he grew up with from his family, and further refined them working at Rumi’s Kitchen. Now, he’s opened up an incredible debut restaurant that has diners raving. Insider tip: The adas polomight be the best thing on the menu.

5. Guac y Margys

661 Auburn Ave NE #120, Atlanta, GA 30312

This fun, casual Tex-Mex spot is only just a mere few steps away from the beltline! It’s the perfect place to stop if you’re looking for a quick bite. The housemade guac and tacos are mind-blowing, but don’t forget to grab a margarita with your meal–all margaritas are made fresh here! Insider tip:Try the cauliflower taco!

6. Hawker’s

661 Auburn Ave NE UNIT 180, Atlanta, GA 30312

They’re back! This popular Asian food spot is inspired by the hawker stalls of Asia. After a long absence from the Beltline due to a kitchen fire, they’re finally back open! Insider tip:Their roti canai and fries are unexpectedly delicious.

7. The James Room

661 Auburn Ave NE STE 280, Atlanta, GA 30312

This ultra cool speakeasy is one part coffeeshop, one part co*cktail bar and has remained a hot spot for a late night beverage for years. Insider tip: Their espresso martini is especially sexy and delicious.

8. Kevin Rathbun Steak

154 Krog St NE STE 200, Atlanta, GA 30307

Kevin Rathbun Steak is just steps away from the famous Atlanta Beltline, but it’s more than access to Atlanta’s most frequented attraction that keeps customers coming. With a modern sexy dining experience, and the incredible service you find at Kevin Rathbun’s restaurants, you’re in for a great night with every visit. We haven’t even mentioned some of the mind blowing, delicious dishes you’ll find there – like his sweet potato gratin, lobster fritters, and dry aged Spinalis – the most in demand cut of steak these days! Insider tip: The creamed corn is legendary!

9. Krog Street Market

Krog Street Market is perfect for when you’re in a group and just can’t come to consensus on where or what to eat. It’s always bustling and has tons of options.has all the amazing meats and sandwiches that you crave when you’re extra hungry. Gu’s Dumplings’ spicy dried eggplant is totally addicting.Yalla has a shawarma you’ll dream about for days. Or, if you’re wanting to eat healthier, pick up a delicious bowl from Recess. Insider tip: Be sure to also peruse the beer and wine selection at Hop City before heading home.

10. Ladybird

The patio to end all patios!Ladybird is the best of the Beltline, featuring outdoor camp vibes but without the sweaty hike. Have a few co*cktails here–their Old Fashioned is a showstopper–or sit down for some seriously tasty eats. We dream about their burger and love their brunch offerings. Your pup will love their patio.

11. New Realm

550 Somerset Terrace NE Unit 101, Atlanta, GA 30306

Long gone are the days where bars and breweries were just for drinks. Now, they’re culinary and dinner destinations. Anyone who has tried New Realm’s spicy buffalo chicken wings knows that New Realm knows their stuff. Those items not tickling your fancy? How about a Wagyu burger or a Southern she-crab soup? Their patio is also always perfect for warmer weather days! Insider tip: their cheddar crusted mac and cheese is a can’t miss.

13. Ponce City Market

Atlanta’s biggest tourist attraction! Ponce City Market, modeled after Chelsea Market in New York City, houses some of the city’s tastiest eats and boutique shopping.You can pick up a mouthwatering and cake-y donut from Nashville import Five Daughters Bakery, enjoy a charcuterie board at 9 Mile Station, see why folks say H&F Burger has the best burger in the city, feast on tacos at Minero, or pick up a bucket of crunchy fried chicken from Hop’s Chicken. Insider tip: Make a stop by Honeysuckle Gelato for an ice cream sandwich or double scoop of gelato to end your culinary trip.

14. TWO Urban licks

It’s lit! TWO Urban Licks is always a party and a happeningdate night spot. Dine on the patio for some fair weather fun and try their brisket and eggs for brunch. Insider tip: They’re famous for their salmon chips, a can’t miss menu item.

15.Best End Brewing

1036 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310

Best End Brewing is out to prove that the West End is the Best End, and they’re doing a damn good job of it. Their outdoor/backyard set-up is perfect for group hangs, and their brews are equally tantalizing. The food menu they have is small, but insider tip: their wings are crispy and pretty solid!

16. Boggs Social & Supply

1310 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310

Gather on Boggs’ open patio for a chill vibe, great live entertainment, delicious Korean fusion food, and draft beer at a reasonable price. This neighborhood bar has an extensive, rotating food menu and also regularly has food trucks parked out front if you’re hankering for something a little bit different. Insider tip: Stop by on the weekend for bottomless mimosas!

17. Monday Night Garage

933 Lee St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310

Popular Atlanta brewery Monday Night Brewing has opened up a second location in the West End, one of the first breweries to set up shop in this rapidly changing neighborhood. What makes this spot different than their other location is the focus on small batch sours, so sour lovers can rejoice in this new ATL addition. Insider tip: Try to time your visit when The Real Mexican Vittles food truck is there, their tacos are phenomenal!

18. Wild Heaven Beer

1010 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310

Wild Heaven, makers of those very popular Emergency Drinking Beers, has also opened up shop on the Westside trail of the Beltline. We love the spaced out and shady pup-friendly patio tables and the beer on tap at Wild Heaven. Insider tip: their food menu is pretty limited, so you might be better off picking up something from a food truck next door.
